APEX Direct 1.5

The Apex Direct is SMC's new approach to the conventional pulley.

More compact in height thanks to the absence of its head ring, it allows direct connection by carabiner or the use of a textile element.

Compact and over 50% lighter than a combination of a pulley swivel and a carabiner.

Description

APEX Swivel Swing Blocks offer both easy one-handed opening and unmatched security.

Opening and security are ensured by a patented triple action locking mechanism (Turn, Push, Open).

When closed, the assembly automatically engages for intuitive and ergonomic operation, even with gloves.

The APEX have 2 extended, trapezoidal flanges at the bottom to block the Prusiks.

The rings of the APEX 1.5 are designed to accommodate up to 3 carabiners.

All rings are very rounded and are compatible with all textile anchors.

APEX Direct

The APEX Direct is lower and does not have a swivel.

The pulley has been optimized to save space and weight. It is specially designed for use with soft accessories such as cords and straps or textile soft shackles.

Thanks to the flexibility of the flexible connectors, the APEX Direct automatically aligns with the direction of effort, just like a swivel pulley.
