Featuring a 1.0 KW electric engine that can take 80/82 Volts Lithium-Ion batteries, this self-powered winch will allow you to work effortlessly!

This battery-powered winch is a marvel that provides valuable services on site.

As a hauling winch, it is not intended to be used directly for lifting without additional safety.

It is therefore important to understand that it is primarily a pulling aid and that its great power relative to its weight, price and size will make it an ideal complement to your rope systems.

The winch does not automatically pull up the rope and it is not permanently engaged in the mechanism.

According to the CAPSTAN type working mode, it is only the friction of the rope on the drum that causes the pulling force.
You therefore need a rope adapted to your needs, a sufficient number of turns around the drum and a certain manual traction force at the exit of the drum so that it (by friction) causes the pull.

This system has several advantages:
* By releasing the output tension, you easily release the pressure on the drum and thus the pulling force
* The rope is easy and very quick to engage and disengage without tools and without heavy technical operation
* In the event of a certain overload of your system (not the winch), the rope will tend to slip on the smooth drum, without damaging it and without straining the entire pulling system

In order to work safely, we advise you to use it in suitable configurations.

Various techniques should notably allow you to improve your system:
- Use of a locking pulley, clamp or rope grab to secure the load
- Use of an fall-protection device with or without a second rope (redundancy) to secure the load
- Use of a CLUTCH or MAESTRO type pulley/descender so as not to lose performance while adding a descender function

One of the ideal configuration of a system integrating this winch is therefore, for example, to create a mechanical advantage hauling device that you could operate in manual traction and to add the winch at the exit of the mechanical advantage in order to do most of the movement without forcing.
At the end of the lift, if you need to be precise about the positions or the tensions, you can always retrieve your mechanical advantage manually and finish the work by hand.
