ESCAPE 8 Descender

Originally designed as a personal evacuation device for firefighters in emergency situations, this ultralight and compact descender is now highly regarded by search and rescue teams, ski patrols, law enforcement, and military personnel worldwide.

Thanks to advanced computer analysis and field testing to optimize its geometry, this descender is designed to work perfectly on single and double ropes up to 7.5 mm, and can also be used on single ropes up to 9.5 mm.

A single or double winding provides the ideal level of friction for a fast and controlled descent. The lugs prevent accidental stop knots.
