Fixed roll of 29 mm anodized aluminum for thin rope terminations.

This roll makes it possible to accommodate small Dyneema (HMPE) and Aramid yarns by offering them good resistance due to a large D/d ratio: diameter of the support / diameter of the rope.

For very small ultra-static modern fiber yarns (Dyneema, HMPE, Arammids, Technora, Spectra, Vectran, etc.), it is often important to best preserve the breaking load lmit of the yarn by refraining from carrying out knots.

Modern splices are the best way to meet the mechanical strength of fibers, but they do not allow easy adjustment of lengths on site.

Therefore, a compact termination on a fixed roll is usually a good solution.

These on-roll terminations make it possible to create a favorable diameter ratio between the yarn diameter (d) and the roll diameter (D). This D:d ratio makes it possible to limit the loss of resistance of the fibers in order to reduce them to a few percent.
