Description

Guiding and protecting ropes is not always easy in confined or harsh environments.

Commercially available pulleys and friction rings offer good solutions but do not allow the rope to be guided through a plate or create a rigid attachment along a tube or a truss.

Our innovative Half-Donut solution provides a complementary technical response that has been specifically designed and optimized for the entertainment and stunt industries:

1. Their shape and outer diameter are designed so that they can be mounted directly in standard tube clamps (scaffolding clamps or aluminum clamps used in the events industry), giving you unique creativity and responsiveness on site, directly with the resources at your disposal.

2. To improve the grip in the clamps:
- A specially designed outer surface creates grip in cast iron scaffolding clamps.
- A slot for a rubber O-ring (supplied) creates grip in aluminum clamps (Doughty, etc.).

3. As a half-donut, you only need to use two pieces to fit a clamp at both ends. The 14.5 mm width allows two to be placed back-to-back in a 30 mm wide aluminum clamp.

4. Even without using two pieces, the rounded curvature at the entrance and exit of the Half Donut provides good protection for the rope on both sides.

5. An ingenious Circlip washer system (included) expands the range of uses by allowing you to place the Half Donut in a plate of your choice (wood, aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.), making it easy to create a guide through a partition or floor.

6. The guide function in a plate protects ropes from grating floors or other aggressive metal parts.

7. The friction ring function, installed in a rigid and solid manner, allows the acrobat or stuntman to perform swings or conical rotations from a solid fixed point that effectively guides and protects the rope.

8. In circumstances where ropes are exposed to heat sources or poor geometry, adding Half Donuts allows them to be guided precisely according to the desired direction and prevents them from getting caught on obstacles
