Description

These ballast and anchoring pallets are designed to replace other types of ballast anchors (concrete blocks, water tanks, wooden pallets, etc.) for temporary ground anchoring when mechanical anchors or anchor clamps cannot be used.

Compared to other improvised solutions, these pallets offer the advantage of a reliable, practical, modular, and certified technical product specifically designed and optimized for these needs.

Destination

These pallets and associated product families are designed to create temporary ground anchors for the following purposes:

* Load lifting
* Return of theater machinery controls or flying FX systems
* Return of apparatus for attaching acrobatic apparatus or lanyards
* Bracing (guy lines) of sets, structures, poles, portiques, rig or acrobatic apparatus

Due to their design, they are primarily intended for use in the entertainment industry (shows and events), but may also be used in other related fields (exhibitions, fashion shows, sporting events, museum displays, etc.).

These pallets are designed to remain stationary, on the ground or on a generally horizontal and flat support.
They must not be used in the air for lifting or load testing with the load lifted off the ground.

Use and WLL

These pallets are equipped with numerous connection holes on the sides and top.

The WLL capacities of these anchor points range from 750 kg to 2500 kg depending on the points, steel thicknesses, and pull angles.

The pallets are delivered with a complete user manual that details the possibilities and provides examples of loading and pulling.

Regardless of the type of use, spaces have been provided for ratchet straps to pass through, allowing you to securely fasten your ballast to the pallet.

Sliding

The pallet's stability against sliding is optimized by the presence of rubber pads.

If necessary, it can also be secured by a load transfer link placed at the rear of the traction axis.

The slip coefficient (friction) generally obtained on flat, clean ground is 0.6. Which means that a pallet loaded with 1000 kg with ballast allows a maximum horizontal force of 600 kg before slipping.

These parameters will of course vary from one use to another, depending on the nature of the ground.
