Extreme use

Flying trapeze bars have an optimized diameter (ergonomics) / weight / length ratio.

Depending on the loads and lengths, they remain flexible and may bend under extreme use.

Bending a bar is a common occurrence in flying trapeze. A slightly bent bar can still be used (maximum deflection = 1/40 of the length; for a 500 mm bar, this equates to a maximum deformation of 12,5 mm at the center).

Do not attempt to straighten your bars, as this may cause the metal to crack.
