This carabiner is machined from a block of aluminum, like the vast majority of Rock Exotica brand products.

Its narrow, asymmetrical "D" shape concentrates the load along the main axis, thus maximizing its strength.

Not only the frame, but also the internal components are made of stainless steel. Each part offers significantly superior corrosion resistance compared to equivalent materials used in other carabiners.

The Rock D incorporates several unique Rock Exotica design elements: a snag-free locking system, a locking indicator, a precision-machined frame, and an angled gate for maximum opening.
