Swaging Oval Sleeve for steel wire

Nicopress® patented and developed the science for the oval sleeve connection system, and continues to successfully secure customers’ critical applications worldwide in industries that require efficiency, safety, reliability and quality.

Oval sleeves (sometimes named ferrules) are to be used when you want to make a sling with loop termination, with or without thimble. They can also be used to splice two cables together.

Nicopress aluminium oval sleeves are compatible with :
* Galvanized or burnished steel cable
* wire rope.

Other possible materials for Nicopress oval sleeves are :
* copper
* zinc plated copper
* tin plated copper
* black oxide
* stainless steel.

Be sure to respect the recommendations of crimping Nicopress, among others :
* sleeve and cable compatibility
* crimping tool and sleeve compatibility
* respect of crimping rules (order and number of crimp, etc.).

Sleeves hold up to 100% RBS (wire rated breaking strength) and comply with requirements and standards including MS51844, EN 12385 and EN 13411-3.
