The KILO tool holder from CAMP is a marvel of achievement and practicality.
Its beautiful aluminum design gives it lightness, rigidity, robustness and durability.
It adapts equally well to a harness, thanks to its semi-permanent screwing, or on a fixed position as a storage hook that you can directly screw on the support.
The upper hook temporarily stores the connectors located at the front so that the one located further back can be removed. Watch the video with the link at your left.
The Kilo gear carabiner features a proprietary design that makes it particularly robust, stable and easy to use.
Two-part aluminum alloy body connects with two stainless steel Torx TH20 screws making installation quick and simple.
Gear parking position at the top.
Plastic spacer insert for use on webbing up to 45 mm.
Stainless steel wire gate is shaped for smooth action and maintains a low profile to prevent entanglement and accidental opening.
Torx TH20 allen wrench included.
Working load limit: 20 kg. Safety release breaking load: 150 kg.

The EUROPEAN's Working at Height Regulations clearly states “every employer shall, where necessary to prevent injury to any person, take suitable and sufficient steps to prevent, so far as is reasonably practicable, the fall of any material or object.” Whilst it requires companies to take “suitable and sufficient steps” to prevent objects or materials from falling, there is no explicit mention of tool tethering.
In the US, the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) have approved and published the ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 American National Standard for Dropped Object Prevention Solutions. It sets out minimum design, performance and labelling requirements for tethering solutions. It also details guidance for testing those products.
