SOLL VR500 GLIDELOC Fall Arrester trolley

Self-locking fall-arrest trolley designed for SOLL fixed rails.

Design and Safety:

This fall arrester ensures effective and safe stops, preventing unwanted rotations and providing optimum stability in the event of a fall.

Use :

Many industrial ladders are equipped with a central safety rail, in which the operator must secure himself when ascending and descending.
This is particularly the case in the telecommunications, transport, utilities and higher parts of buildings.
This rail, generally of the SOLL brand, requires a special trolley (shuttles) to which the operator is connected at sternal level.

When ascending: the trolley accompanies the ascent smoothly.
When descending: placing the torso slightly backwards allows the trolley to descend without blocking.
In the event of a slip or fall: the trolley automatically blocks the fall by locking onto the rail.
In the event of stopping: the operator can rest with good chest support thanks to the trolley.
After locking: Simply raising the trolley a little releases the lock.
